Rhonda Geyer is Executive Director of True Experience and brings over 23 years of experience in the local healthcare system, with expertise in mental health, addiction, acquired brain injury, autism spectrum disorder, cognitive impairments, and palliative care.

She leads the organization in providing holistic, person-centred support to adults living with mental illness, while building strong community partnerships and advocating for vulnerable populations.

Rhonda is an active member of several professional and community advisory and collaborative bodies, including the Haldimand Health Council (HHC), the Greater Hamilton Health Network (GHHN) Partnership Council, the GHHN MHA Secretariat, the GHHN Community of Practice (CoP), and the Coordinated Care Management Action Team (CCMAT).

Linda Schouwstra is a long-standing member of the Haldimand County community and a highly respected professional in the local health and social services sector.

With over 33 years of experience, Linda has developed extensive expertise in mental health and addictions, autism spectrum disorders, cognitive impairments, palliative care, as well as administration and leadership.

As Housing Coordinator at True Experience, Linda is dedicated to advocating for individuals who may not be able to advocate for themselves, ensuring that all clients receive high-quality, inclusive, and continuous care.

Dave Sherk serves as the Elizabeth Crescent Empowerment Program (ECEP) Lead at True Experience, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program for adults living with mental health challenges. He joined True Experience in early 2021, bringing a wealth of experience from his 30-year career at Haldimand Norfolk Social Services, where he most recently served as a Community Outreach Worker.

Dave is deeply committed to supporting individuals in achieving a better quality of life. His extensive personal and professional experience equips him to provide guidance, encouragement, and practical support that empowers clients to reach their goals.

A long-time resident of Dunnville, Dave is also active in the community. His expertise, dedication, and leadership make him an invaluable member of the True Experience team.

Glenn Tocher joined True Experience in July 2019 as Work Program Supervisor and now serves as Work Program Manager. In this role, he oversees client engagement on lawn maintenance and snow removal crews, manages equipment repairs, and ensures the upkeep of True Experience properties—all while fostering meaningful community connections.

Glenn is committed to teamwork, leadership, and client development, supporting individuals to gain valuable skills and contribute positively to the community. His dedication to creating opportunities for client success strengthens both the program and the broader Haldimand-Norfolk community.

Ange Fowler joined True Experience in early 2019 as a Residential Support Worker and was promoted in 2024 to Community Outreach Coordinator. A long-time resident of Dunnville, Ange is highly engaged in the community and leads the organization’s Community Outreach Program with dedication and professionalism.

She holds certifications in Peer Support, Mental Health First Aid, Safe TALK, and Palliative Care and brings both personal insight and professional expertise to supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Ange is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of the people she serves, ensuring they have access to the services and supports they need.

Joanne VanRavenswaay serves as Administrative Coordinator at True Experience. A lifelong resident of Dunnville, Joanne brings over 20 years of experience supporting individuals across Haldimand in achieving their employment and training goals.

In her administrative role, Joanne oversees day-to-day operations, coordinates program needs, and ensures smooth collaboration between staff, partner agencies, and community organizations. She has successfully led initiatives that enhance health, nutrition, and well-being, consistently demonstrating professionalism, organization, and excellence in execution.

Joanne is dedicated to empowering individuals through coaching, guidance, and administrative support that enables True Experience’s programs to operate efficiently and effectively.
